Legal Process Policy

How we respond to subpoenas, court orders, warrants, and other legal process for user data.

This is placeholder policy language pending review by counsel. It is not legal advice and does not waive any right or defense.

Where to serve legal process

Valid legal process should be directed to:

ScopeForged Inc., c/o Registered Agent, PO Box change-me, City, ST

What we require

We require a valid subpoena, court order, or warrant issued under applicable law with proper jurisdiction over ScopeForged. We review each request for validity and scope, and we push back on overbroad or improper requests.

Customer notice

Our standard policy is to notify the affected customer before disclosing their data so they may seek to limit or quash the request, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so (for example, a valid gag order or national security letter) or notice is barred by law.

Categories of data we hold

  • Account data — name, email, billing contact, and account settings.
  • Content — website content our customers create and publish.
  • Logs — access and system logs, retained for a limited window and then purged.
  • Payment records — held by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
