Authorized agents
California residents may use an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on their behalf, under the CCPA/CPRA. This page explains what we need to verify that authorization.
Who can be an agent
An authorized agent can be a natural person or a business entity registered with the California Secretary of State that a consumer has authorized to act on their behalf.
What we require
- Written permission, signed by the consumer, authorizing the agent to submit the request.
- Verification of the agent's own identity.
- We may contact the consumer directly to confirm they provided the agent permission, and to verify their identity.
- For deletion or correction requests, the consumer may be asked to verify their own identity directly with us.
How to submit
Use the standard privacy request form and describe the authorization in the Authorized-agent details field (who you are, who you represent, and the authorization on file). We'll follow up for the signed permission and any verification we need before acting on the request.

We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond to verifiable requests within 45 calendar days, extendable once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, as permitted by law.
